A strange synth, but pretty fun to create sounds and tweaking them in this strange way as the user interface is very good. As nearly every vst from U-HE, there is a lot of presets, and they are excellent. There is a paid version named Zebra, but this Zebralette is already a truely amaysing synth in his own right.
- U-he Zebra CM. Blendable oscillator waveforms. Super-programmable step LFOs. Slick delay, reverb and chorus. Original synth designed just for CM. AU/VST, 32-/64-bit u-he.com. KV331 Audio SynthMaster CM. Dual wavescanning oscillators. Multimode filter and built-in effects. FM/AM synthesis modes. Based on.
- The package includes 32-bit and 64-bit VST and AAX plugins and can be loaded in any compatible VST host or DAW. Working with Zebra should be fairly intuitive for those who are familiar with VST.
- Zebra is a wireless modular synthesizer. It combines numerous synthesis techniques (subtractive, additive, fm, wavetable, etc.) with a powerful modulation engine that even smoothly integrates with the built-in effects section. Unlike its analog predecessors Zebra has got an adaptive user interface that shows only what you can hear.
- Zebra cm Ultrabeat (stock logic drum synth) Sculpture (stock logic physical modelling) Msoundfactory Trk-01 kick Synth1 Edit: just remembered that I downloaded a freebie called Snare Buzz a couple of days ago. Think it's by Boz. Should be useful.

Workhorse with stripes
Zebra is our wireless modular synthesizer. It combines many different types of synthesis with a powerful modulation engine. Imagine you can create any additive, freehand or spline-based waveform you like, apply a vast selection of spectral effects, morph between those waves and send them through classic synth filters. Perhaps use that entire sound as modulator for an FM oscillator, or route it through a comb filter the building block of physical modeling synthesis. All generator modules, all signal paths, all effects are stereo.
Although the possibilities are practically infinite, you will never be overwhelmed by needless complexity - Zebra’s adaptive interface only shows the modules you are actually using. It is a fascinating playground for sound designers. That is what Zebra is all about, that is why it has become so popular. That is why thousands of free presets are available online.
